Seemed to remove table properties for me
Reported by Will Moindrot | March 20th, 2012 @ 10:09 AM
Hi, nice tool but for me I found that it removed table properties (specifcally border and padding). Code in:
Exposure to risk factor |
Outcome |
|
Case |
Control |
|
Yes |
a |
b |
No |
c |
d |
Code out:
Exposure to risk factor |
Outcome |
|
Case |
Control |
|
Yes |
a |
b |
No |
c |
d |
Any ideas? Thanks Will

Hi Will
Yes, that's deliberate - the service strips all inline formatting. For most cases, it'd be much better to reapply any missing styling using CSS. Sorry if that's not useful for you.
Cheers

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the speedy response. I hadn't thought about that, but I normally am getting my wrist slapped for not using CSS! I guess you might get this question a lot. The particular bit of work I'm doing is putting stuff into Blackboard9 (a Virtual Learning Environment) and I think it's allowances for CSS are limited (or made difficult). In any case the tool is still very useful to me - I'll just put back in the inline formatting for the tables.
Thanks, Will

Actually all had been made clear if I had read the About page - sorry!
